Children’s Services Support Program (Central Australia) Inc. (CSSP) is a non-profit community based organization that provides support and advice, family support, resources and educational training for the Children’s Services sector to the southern region of the Northern Territory

CSSP is managed by a governing board of management that is made up of representatives from the Children’s Services sector and other individuals who maintain an interest in Children’s Services. Support to services may include support to service staff, carers, directors, coordinators, owners and management committees

CSSP supports services to promote and maintain high quality care for all children, including those with additional needs

CSSP is primarily funded by the Department of Families, Community Services & Indigenous Affairs. Services eligible to access CSSP are all Australian Government funded Child Care Services.
The Northern Territory Department of Families and Children (FACS) funds the Family Support Service.

CSSP sponsor's FaCSIA's innovative Early Childhood Integrated Links Project that targets three remote communities. In consultation and collaboration with child care, education and the community, the project aims to improve and enhance quality outcomes for all children including those with additional needs.

Current Projects

a] NT Children's Week
CSSP administers on behalf of the Northern Territory Early Childhood Association the funding allocated to the Central Australian region to celebrate Children's Week.
Funding is provided by the Northern Territory Department of Health and Community Services.

b] Induction and Orientation Package
The Northern Territory Department of Health and Community Services has provided funding for the development of a children's services induction and orientation package. CSSP administers the funding for the project on behalf of the Alice Springs Early Childhood Group Providers. (ECGP)


The Australian Government, through the Minister of Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaCSIA), funds the Inclusion Support Agency (ISA) and Professional Support Service Provider (PSSP) initiative as part of the Inclusion and Professional Support Program (IPSP)
