Resource Library

The CSSP Early Childhood Resource Centre is funded by Child Australia PSCNT through the Commonwealth Inclusion and Professional Support Program initiative.

The CSSP Early Childhood Resource Centre has over 3,000 items to support early childhood educators in meeting their programming and professional needs. Resources include information on child development, additional needs and disability, diversity and inclusion, child protection, quality practice in early childhood education and topics as diverse as toileting and emotional development.

We have a wide range of multicultural items, including costumes, artefacts, children’s books, music and games. These can be borrowed in kit form or individually, to enhance the diversity and inclusivity of a child care service’s program. There are also toys, games, photo sets, cause and effect toys and children’s books.

Specialist Equipment Pool

Children’s services across Central Australia sometimes need access to specialist equipment to meet the specific inclusion needs of children.

Specialist equipment includes items for use in the children's service setting that would not usually be purchased by a children's service such as specialist seating, standing, positioning, toileting equipment and visual aids.

CSSP manages the specialist equipment pool for children’s services on behalf of PSC NT.

Specialist equipment needs should be discussed with the Inclusion Support Facilitator (ISF) and with any therapists that are working with the child.

You do not have to be a financial member of the library to borrow.
